Slimmest of All People!

Before I get started, let me remind you to come out to the Big Slim Gig next Thursday night, October 23rd, at 19 Sports in San Juan Capistrano, Californee!  All details below!

OK…I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. We use too many abbreviations these days. I’m starting to lose track. It all started with LOL, which at the time, I thought meant Lots of Love.

I was wrong. LOL meant Laugh Out Loud. Big difference. LOL became LMAO, Laughing My Ass Off, which became LMAOROTF, Laughing My Ass Off Rolling On The Floor.

I’m getting confused, Slim People.

For instance, when I first saw LGBT, I had no idea what it meant. I thought maybe they had the letters mixed up, in the wrong order.

LGBT? The more I thought about it, the more I was sure they meant BLTG, which is my favorite sandwich-Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Guacamole. It’s a delish! Have you ever tried it? It’s great!

That’s why I was so excited when I started hearing about the BLTG community. It was a comfort to know there were other people out there who loved this wonderful sandwich. I would love to join the BLTG community.

I’ve never been one for joining groups. Any group that would have someone like me as a member has to be suspect. But Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Guacamole? Where do I sign up?

And then I found out that BLTG was really LGBT, and that it meant Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans…Trans what, exactly? Transvestite? Transexual? Transylvanian?

Slim People, whatever community you belong to, here’s a nice little something to whip up for you and Your People at your next community meeting.

Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Guacamole Sandwich

First, fry your bacon. I hope you know how to do this. Slim People are no morons!

Toast two slices of whole wheat bread.

Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one piece of toast. Add a couple tablespoons of guacamole, spread it around evenly.

Add a couple slices of tomato. Add a little salt and fresh cracked black pepper.

Add a couple slices of bacon. Add a slim piece of lettuce.

Put the other piece of whole wheat toast on top, and, there you have it! OMG! One Mighty Good…sandwich.

A BLTG for the S&M Community. The Slim Man Community.  Enjoy.

I just want to thank All Slim Folks for being so Slimsational. WTF Slim People! Wonderful, Tremendous, Fantastic.

Another thing…take a stroll around the new Slim Store.  Lots of great music, including the new Bona Fide CD, right here.
